since Oct. 2006 Lecturer at the Department of Prehistory and Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology of Heidelberg University.
Oct. 2004 - Sept. 2006 Research assistant at the Department of Prehistory and Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology of Heidelberg University. Conducting a research in the iconography and iconlogy of deities in Mesopotamia according to cuneiform inscriptions.
Scholarship of the Fritz-Thyssen-Fund, Cologne.
Dez. 2003 - Sept. 2004 Conducting a systematical investigation of ancient sites from Prehistoric to Islamic Period; in collaboration with the Department of Geography and Geometric Analysis, Heidelberg University and supported by the Gerda-Henkel-Fund, Duesseldorf.
Nov. 2002 - Nov. 2003 Research assistant at Ashur Excavation Project; jointly run by Heidelberg University and Halle-Wittenberg University in collaboration with the German Research Council, Bonn.
Oct. 2002 Scientific assistant commissioned by the FWU - Institute for Film and Pictures in Science and Education, Gruenwald (Institution of German Ministry of Science, Culture and Education) for the multi-media project "Landscapes of the Bible" (CD-ROM/database).
Jan. 1999 - Sept. 2002 Research assistant at the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures - Assyriology of Heidelberg University within the inter-disciplinary Leibniz Program concerning the history and religion of Assyria especially the cultic topography of the ancient city of Ashur.
Aug. 1995 - Dec. 1998 Post-Graduate scholarship of Halle University at Ashur Research Project with full research and publication responsibilities. This project deals with the archaeological results, small objects and ceramics of the German expedition to Ashur from 1903-1914; run by the Deutsche Orient-Gesellschaft and Vorderasiatisches Museum. Staatliche Museen - PK, Berlin.
